Artjoms Gajevskis is a member of the Latvian national triathlon team with many years of experience in this sport. Before triathlon he was a swimmer and a member of Daugavpils Sports School.
Artjoms is a five-time Latvian champion in the most prestigious Olympic distance, as well as a three-time Latvian champion in the “super sprint” distance. Artjoms was also a competitor at the 2023 European Championships in Madrid, where he became the first triathlete in Latvian triathlon history to finish in the highest position.
Alongside his sporting career, in 2024 Artjoms successfully completed the University of Latvia’s bachelor’s programme “Sport, Technology and Public Health”, at that time studying for the triathlon coach category C certificate as well.

- 33rd place at the European Elite Championships 2023 in Madrid.
- 33rd place in the Elite World Cup 2023 in Karlovy Vary.
- 24th place at the European Cup Elite 2023 in Yenisehir, Turkey.
- 3rd place in the Elite category of the Baltic Championships 2022 in Tallinn.
- Five-time Latvian champion in Olympic distance triathlon 2018-2021, 2024.
- Three-time Latvian champion in triathlon “super-sprint” distance 2021-2023.
