The Mārupīte Gravel Triathlon – the first event of its kind in Latvia! 🔥

This event is designed for everyone who wants to try triathlon, challenge themselves or simply spend time actively in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Both experienced athletes and beginners, as well as young participants and active lifestyle enthusiasts, are welcome to take part.

Race Format

The swim will take place in the lake under lifeguard and safety staff supervision. Participants will also have the option to use open water safety buoys. Wetsuits are allowed.

The cycling course will follow gravel roads around the lake. Almost any type of bicycle is allowed (except e-bikes). A properly functioning helmet is mandatory.

The running section will take place around the lake on natural trails and gravel surfaces.

Important Information for Participants

• The event is open to all participants
• Drafting within the same gender category is allowed
• Each participant is responsible for their own health condition and readiness for the race
• All finishers will receive a finisher medal 🏅

Registration is available only through pre-registration by completing the application form. Race day registration will not be available.
